RHM assist residents in the community by forming partnerships with local school districts, residential senior communities, local churches and ministers, food banks, merchants, and volunteers.
Additionally, RHM draws heavily upon the skills and professional resources of its Board members. RHM's Board members are licensed clergy, practicing medical assistants, attorneys, teachers, and administrators.
RHM will soon have its site for its Christian Recreation Center in which it will centralize its services to the community such as:
Youths tutoring in a place where neighborhood children can go after school that will provide them with a constructive environment to enable them to form positive friendships and important coping and social skills.
Computer facilities to assist youth in completing homework assignments. A light meal provided in an open discussion area where youths gather to discuss issues monitored by community leaders or other volunteers.
Adults receive rudimentary computer/internet training that teaches them to navigate the world-wide web to assist them to more efficiently manage their lives and connect with others.
GED testing.
Job skills training focusing on teaching resume writing and job interviewing skills.
Wardrobe assistance through clothing drives.
First Aid and CPR training.
Complimentary blood pressure and glucose readings.
Home health aide training and certification.
RHM's clergy currently offer a variety of services, including, but not limited to: services to the elderly and shut-in such as visits, prayer, and communion; Bible study and worship services; conduct marriage solemnizations, infant dedications and baptismals, and house blessings. RHM is seeking volunteers for its Prison ministries.
Once a month, the RHM's food pantry provides food and hygiene products to the community. Twice per month, RHM partners with local non-profits to feed the homeless on the city's streets. RHM is committed to partnering with local churches and community representatives to provide holiday meals and toys for children.
Toys for Tots. RHM is an approved distributor of toys for the Marines Toys for Tots program which provides toys to neighboring children at Christmas time.
RHM operates a limited pro-bono legal advice clinic. The CEO and founder of RHM is a licensed attorney in good standing with the State of Ohio and the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. The clinic does not provide legal representation the community is encouraged to seek legal representation if they are actually facing a legal matter.
